"All the surprises in a size too small..." (Sufjan Stevens)

Welcome to 1:51 a.m. in a year of too-little sleep. Our study is frantically messy, the groggy 7 a.m.'s and exhausted 10 p.m.'s lying in chaotic piles everywhere. Sufjan Stevens is cradling my melted brain, and my hazlenut espresso candle is keeping me cognisant. Olfactory caffeine is the best, you know.
I think I've done a pretty good job lately of proving my complete inability to do everything I'm doing. Who wants to collapse with me?

"I want to take you through a wasteland I like to call my home..." (Green Day)

Political commercial #1: "My opponent burns Bibles, eats babies, and was seen helping Satan's mother-in-law across the street!"

Political commercial #2: "Well, my opponent was seen helping George Bush's mother-in-law across the street!"

Campaining is OVER. ::Kisses TV for joy::

"I've got sunshine on a cloudy day with my girl..." (The Temptations)

Well, a certain little someone can say "Mommy" now. For instance:

Natalie, pointing to Patrick (the starfish from "Spongebob Squarepants"): "Mommy!"
Dan: "No, silly! What is this?"
Natalie, happily: "It’s a mommy!"
Me: "Well, who am I?"
Natalie: "Bug!"
